Your guide to essential new fruit varieties
BLACKBERRY TRIPLE CROWN
Already achieving popularity in gardens, and it is easy to see why. The glossy jet black sweetly flavoursome berries are long in shape and very large and can weigh 6.5g each. Picking is fast and convenient with the berries well displayed on much branched arching fruiting panicles. The growth is vigorous, very frost hardy and easy to manage being erect and completely spine free. Blossom large and white.
Crops are heavy – and prolonged. Triple Crown will begin to ripen at the end of August making it a good late variety, and then continue until the first frosts giving a very extended picking period of fine quality fruits.
Plant 8-10’ apart.
